Our Retreats

Our retreat week is designed to be intimate in size, thus allowing you time “to be”, to relax and to reconnect with yourself. It also offers a place for you to connect with kindred spirits, share experiences and make lasting friendships. Decks, hammocks and intimate corners facilitate the atmosphere of easy community.
Julie, Paula, and Carol are experienced teachers and facilitators, as well as long time journeyers on the path. A variety of activities for self-awareness and creative expression are offered if you wish.

- daily yoga and meditation
- creative writing
- painting
- introduction to astrology for personal awareness
- gardening
- nature walks – guided or not
- swimming, canoeing, biking
You are also free to dive into our well-stocked library of books, CD’s and DVD’s on topics related to spiritual and personal growth. Walking trails can take you along the river, or back to the historic town of Almonte, home of fine art galleries, cafes, museums, and friendly folk. Nearby are two lovely conservation areas.
The weekend of Aug 11 and 12 is an occasion for festivity in the town of Almonte, as it hosts the PuppetsUp! International Puppet Festival. This event features puppeteers from many countries with a variety of stunning performances.
