Our Yoga Instructors
Yogas practice encourages growth and change in all aspects of ourselves — physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The instructors at SpiritMatters are widely trained and experienced in yogic fundamentals — proper breathing and relaxation techniques, asana (exercise) practice, diet and meditation.
We welcomes teachers with a wide variety of training backgrounds and those who are able to offer classes which meet the various needs and requirements of students.

Her teaching is centred around helping to make the wisdom of yoga and related disciplines an integral part of our modern lives. You can contact Julie at 613-256-2361 or e-mail spiritmatters@comnet.ca
Tamara Reasin
started basking in the sun of yoga in the early nineties in Ontario. In retrospect, her first teachers of yoga were her loving family. Upon completing her BA in Anthropology and Native Studies, she proceeded to travel, study and teach yoga in Mexico, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan and India, melting hearts and strengthening bodies with her quiet and gentle power. Tamara lived and studied Yoga in India for over two years with wonderful teachers, including Mr. Pattabhi Jois and BKS Iyengar . She benefited from three Yoga Teacher Training programs, a result of which she became Yoga Alliance accredited. Tamara feels there is little distinction in studying with “Indian Masters”, giving workshops in slick, upscale studios or teaching in her hometown, as she imbues each task with equal reverence and gratitude.
